April 1, 2023 – Conectere, a pioneer in AI-driven software for enhancing employee engagement and connectedness in today's remote/hybrid work environment, announced portfolio content additions designed specifically to enable Conectere's customers to embrace and participate in the upcoming National Take Your Child To Work Day - 2023.

Thursday, April 27th, is National Take Your Child To Work Day. This national event is orchestrated by the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation, and can be virtual, in person or hybrid. The annual event is intended to expose students to future job possibilities, explore workplace dynamics including teamwork and communication skills and support and reinforce the value of their education. This is especially impactful for those young people who may not have an active role model in their everyday life. Here’s how the Foundation describes the national event:

Since 1993, on the fourth Thursday in April, more than 40 million youth and adults in over 4 million workplaces around the world have participated in the Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work program. Designed to be more than a career day, the Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work® program goes beyond the average practice of “shadowing” an adult. Exposing children to what a parent or mentor does during the workday is important, but showing them the value of their education, helping them discover the power and possibilities of work and family life, providing boys and girls a chance to share how they envision the future, and allowing them to begin steps toward their goals in a hands-on and interactive environment is key to their achieving success.

At Conectere, to help our clients coordinate and participate in the event, we have created and published two ‘conectivities’ that will be automatically launched by our platform the week of the event. The conectivities are designed to help facilitate and advance the goals of the event, especially for companies that are hybrid or fully remote. In particular, the conectivities provide suggested half-day and full-day agendas, and include links to resources and activities. A few highlights include starting the day with a mock “onboarding” experience for the “new employees,” a Q/A session with the CEO/stakeholder(s), a Conectere community service conectivity and other elements. As with all conectivities automated by our platform, participating employees will receive rewards that can be used in their respective employee stores.

The 2023 National Take Your Child To Work Day! Full-Day and Half-Day conectivities can be viewed online in the CONECTERE COMMUNITY - our cloud-hosted community that enables companies and institutions to share their favorite and most effective "conectivities" for the health and benefit of employees everywhere. These will be helpful in planning your event. In addition, the conectivities provide links to the Foundation’s toolkit, which includes a helpful timeline and checklist for planning prior to the event.
